The setting of the story began before Dorothy arrived in Oz with the help of her ruby slippers. With that said, the viewers could expect notable references, dialogues, and scenes in the ever popular “The Wizard of Oz” movie of 1939.
You need not see the epic of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz to admirer this musical and its plot.
